IT/Telecommunications

IT/Telecommunications, often regarded as the central nervous system of a building, is the catalyst for information flow both inside the facility as well as with the outside world.  From voice to data to video; whether using fiber, UTP or coax; the cabling system needs to be designed in a manner that addresses the needs of today but with an eye towards future modifications and expansions.  This requires careful consideration and coordination from the earliest points of connectivity to the service providers all the way through to each endpoint in a facility.

In addition to a robust and flexible cabling infrastructure, all IT spaces need to be designed and sized in compliance with cooling, lighting, electrical, and accessibility codes and best practices.  As such, we advocate for early involvement in your project in order to most effectively coordinate these requirements with the rest of the design team.
